Saher Asad

Saher received her Ph.D. in Economics from George Washington University in 2016. Her research interests are primarily in the area of empirical development economics. She uses both experimental and quasi-experimental methods to answer questions within development economics. Her current projects include studying the impact of ICTs on agriculture and labor market choices for women, incentives in agricultural markets, environment and natural resource economics as well as role of incentives in improving the education sector. The courses she currently teaches include: Development Economic Theory, Water Economics, Environmental Economics and Statistics and Data Analysis.
