Pedro is also a research economist at the Centre of Microdata Methods and Practice, and a research fellow at the Institute for Fiscal Studies. He is a labor economist working on the determinants and consequences of skill formation, in developed and developing countries. He holds a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Chicago, where he was supervised by James Heckman.
