Niha finished her PhD in Public Policy at Harvard University in July 2020. Her research fields are development and labor economics. Her current projects focus on understanding the role of labor market frictions and government policies in shaping economic outcomes for employers and workers. Prior to the PhD, she received her BA in Economics from McGill University and worked on research projects based in India, Pakistan, and the US.
