Alice’s broad research interests are in labor, development and behavioral economics. In particular, she is interested in understanding the determinants of educational inequality, beyond financial barriers. She is working on the measurement and importance of socio-emotional skills in low-income settings. Prior to starting the PhD, she worked with Jishnu Das on the LEAPS Long Term follow up study. She participated in the elaboration of the survey instruments, in particular those to measure socio-emotional skills, and coordinated the field work for this part of the program. She holds a Master’s in Public Policy and Development from the Paris School of Economics (PSE) and a Bachelor in Development Economics from the University Paris Dauphine.
